Heard a recording made in April 1932 on an organ in Paris where the composer himself was the organist and showed every organist in the world how it should be played. He was 88 years of age at the time of the recording - a lot of suface noice, generally speaking a "bad" recording, but it was a 1932 recording for goodness sake, therefor one of the "best" recordings ever😊❤

Bravo!! I love the Hornpipe. I chose it as our recessional nearly 40 years ago.

The last improve was interesting and impressive. The organ does have a nice crescendo. Performer is good, not quite happy with the organ.

Interesting. A 4 manual organ with no 16' diapasons, no 8' Diapasons on the swell or choir. But lots of Mixtures. Oh, yes, gotta have those Mixtures. I cheap way o making the organ loud without much foundation or fundamental stops to back it up. Nice Vox H. Oboe = more a muted trumpet (Small scale) Yes the reeds will make up for the lack of proper flue pipes. In that acoustical environment almost anything would sound good. This instrument has a nice pitch range but lacks, severely, the guts that make an organ powerful as well as loud.

Richard - astonishing talent! Fascinating recital, the Vierne Organ Symphony 1 Final encore is a tour de force! Wonderful organ - is this the promised rebuild and restoration to Cavaille-Coll's specification, and now with a new electrified console, and is the action electric as well? Appears much more versatile than the previous mechanical action version and apparently allows for console mobility.

wow the Melody of veni creator is for me one of the most beautiful and the Durufle setting leaves me ecstatic any time I hear it The Durufle harmonies on the mid verses are superb.. I have sung mass in ST Etienne du Mont many times and I have heard the Venii Creator on the organ there which fills me emtionally any time I hear it. If you are ever in Paris go to Sunday Mass and hear the organ .YOu will love it.. Keith BICKLE

Such a wonderful arrangement of Bach's composition written by Virgil Fox whose music I have listened to since I was 5 years Old (thanx to my father). Your playing of this piece brings joy to my heart as I sit here at my computer and again listen to the beautiful harmonies. I have a CD of Virgil's recording of this piece played on the Wanamaker organ in Philadelphia and never Miss a chance to sit back, listen, and soak in the magnificent sounds as they flow through the room. This is my favorite version. Not because of the performance but because the look of contempt on the organist's face when the singer cuts him off at the introduction. I'd like to think from then on he's thinking about performing this for her funeral. 😂

I enjoy Hans Zimmer’s music with his brilliance. You played it fine but the arrangement is not so good. In, no time for caution, in the middle of the score, the dynamic is gone to a bland melody but the harmony was there. The bass pedals need to be louder to boost the dynamism of the score. These are only my opinions and how I view and hear the score in my head; everybody’s else’s head are different.
